Role: Drivers Mate
Location: Trumpington
Hours: 6am - until Finish or 10:30am - until Finish
Pay: £12.71 p/h
Extrastaff are currently recruiting Drivers Mate on behalf of a client based in Trumpington, Cambridge as they enter their busy period.
Benefits of a Drivers Mate:
- Potential permanent roles offered to suitable candidates after 12 weeks.

The main duties for the Drivers Mate role are:
- Helping the driver to load and unload the vehicle throughout the shift.
- Lifting of goods using sack's which will always be two-man lifts.
- Using a company phone to contact customers, contact centres and the transport office.
- Using a hand-held terminal to record the status of deliveries.
- Helping the driver with directions.
- Managing goods and waste in the back of the vehicle.
- Dealing with the public on a daily basis.
- Shift Patterns AM - 6am - finish PM 10:30am - finish.
Due to the nature of the work, the role is very customer facing and heavy lifting is involved.
