Extrastaff are proud to be recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Driver positions around the Peterborough area and are currently offering assessments and immediate starts for new pass and experienced drivers. Working with a well known and respected transport company in the ag industry, you will play a vital part in the food supply chain. We can offer fixed shift pattern on tramping or day work, or flexible day runs to suit your week.

Pay rates of a Class 1 HGV Driver

• Monday - Friday Days £17.50 | Nights £18.50
• Saturday Days £18.50 | Nights £19.50
• Sunday Days £19.50 | Nights £20.50
• Bank Holiday Days £22.00 | Nights £23.00

Duties of a HGV Class 1 Driver

• Report to transport to get your route and keys
• Complete and log vehicle and trailer checks
• Drive safely on public roads
• Arrive at collection location and ensure safe loading
• Trunk back to delivery location and drop and swap trailers
