Role:                  HGV Class 1 Driver- Nights Shunter

Location:        Coventry CV2

Start time:      1600 to 0100, after training 1600- 0400 on 4in 4off shift pattern

Pay:                    £18.75 (weekdays)

                             £20.50 (weekends)

Extrastaff Coventry are looking for a number of HGV Class 1 Driver- Shunters, to join one of our long-standing clients in Coventry CV2 area on 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Duties of an HGV Class 1 Driver- Shunter:

• Temperature checks on vehicles
• Inspecting vehicles and trailers
• Responsible for the safe movement of vehicles in a yard using a trailer unit
• Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines

To be successful for the HGV Class 1 Driver- Shunter role:

• You must hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driver licence.
• You must hold a DQC (Driver Qualification Card), DTC (digital tachograph card) and CPC accreditation.
• Have no more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's).
• Must have min of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
