Role: Workshop Video Engineer
Location: Watford
Hours: 9AM - 6PM
Pay: 35K to 60K depending on experience
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Video Engineer to join a great company in Watford
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for broadcast technology, electronics, and video equipment maintenance to work with a wide range of professional broadcast systems used across major media projects.
Workshop Video Engineer Requirements:
- Strong interest in TV, broadcast, and video technology
- Interest in electronics maintenance and repair
- Good practical and organisational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience within the broadcast TV industry
- Experience in electronics servicing or maintenance
- Qualification in electrical, electronics, or a related field
Workshop Video Engineer Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carry out first-line testing, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of broadcast video equipment
- Assist with the preparation and configuration of video equipment for live and recorded projects
- Diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently
- Maintain high standards of equipment presentation and cleanliness
- Schedule and manage servicing requirements
- Conduct regular PAT testing
- Maintain stock levels of essential spare parts
- Support the Projects Department when required
- Keep workshop, storage, and preparation areas organised and efficient
