HGV Class 1 Driver

Shifts:  Days (from 00:00 onwards)

              PM/ Nights (from 1600 onwards)  

Pay: £22.11- £24.34 per hour plus weekend bonus

Location: Coventry CV5

Extrastaff are looking for a number of HGV Class 1 Driver's, to join one of our longstanding clients in Coventry CV5 area.

Duties of an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Completing store deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time.
• Inspect vehicles at the start and end of your shift, ensuring that they are maintained to company standards.
• Record any vehicle defects and report them immediately to the Transport Team.

Requirements of an HGV Class 1 Driver:

• You must hold a valid Class 1 licence.
• You must hold a DQC (Driver Qualification Card), DTC (digital tachograph card) and CPC accreditation.
• Have no more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's).
• Have a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
