Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers – Waste Management

Location: Crawley

Pay: £19 per hour

Shifts: Days and Nights – 06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00

We are recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 HGV Drivers for a large, established waste management company based in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a major company offering long-term prospects and opportunities for career progression.

You will be transporting waste between different sites using specialist vehicles, including tankers and sludge lorries. Drivers must be flexible, as you could be working at various locations depending on operational requirements.

Duties and Requirements of Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers – Waste Management

• Transport waste safely between different sites

• Operate tankers and sludge lorries, with appropriate training where required

• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects

• Follow all health and safety procedures

• Complete relevant paperwork and maintain accurate records

• Be flexible to travel to different sites as required

• Hold a valid Class 1 or Class 2 HGV driving licence

• Hold a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous tanker or waste management experience would be advantageous
