About ZendGroup

ZendGroup is on a mission to be the UK’s best eCommerce fulfilment business – and we’re growing fast. We ship thousands of orders every day for some of the most exciting brands in the UK, from health and wellness to sports nutrition, beauty and beyond. Behind every perfectly picked order is a team that takes real pride in getting it right.

That could be you.

Help Set the Standard for Every Order That Leaves Our Building

Zendbox is looking for a hands-on, organised and supportive Goods Out Section Support to help raise the bar across our outbound picking and packing operation.

This role sits at the heart of the Goods Out floor. You’ll be the go-to person for our pickers and packers: onboarding and training new starters, keeping equipment and workstations ready, making sure picking and packing processes are followed on every shift, and being the first point of escalation when something isn’t right.

If you take pride in doing things properly and enjoy helping others do the same, you’ll love this role.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Picking & Packing Operations Support

  •  Act as the first point of escalation for all picker and packer queries and issues.
  • Support issue resolution to minimise picking and packing delays and keep orders flowing.

Onboarding, Coaching & Training

  • Deliver structured onboarding for new pickers and packers, covering system access, picking and packing SOPs and workstation layout.
  • Reinforce pick accuracy, quality and packaging standards through daily huddles and coaching.
  • Conduct refresher training and ensure compliance across picking and packing teams.

Process Compliance & SOP Adherence

  • Ensure correct picking methods, packing methods, packaging materials and labelling are consistently followed.
  • Identify recurring non-adherence and escalate to team leadership.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and feedback loops.

Equipment & Workstation Readiness

  • Monitor pack benches to ensure they are clean, stocked and scan-ready.
  • Oversee the handheld scanners and equipment used across picking and packing, ensuring they are maintained.
  • Report any workstation or equipment faults for resolution.

Performance & KPI Monitoring

  • Assist in reviewing picker and packer performance, including accuracy.
  • Provide first-level coaching for underperformance before escalating to the Warehouse Outbound Operations Manager.
  • Support data gathering for CAPAs relating to mis-picks, mispacks, damages or delays.

Communication & Escalation

  • Relay daily updates, performance notes and blockers during shift handovers.
  • Act as the operational link between pickers, packers and leadership to ensure continuous flow.

The Problems You’ll Help Solve

  • Picking and packing errors, and inconsistent packaging standards.
  • Equipment and workstation readiness.
  • Miscommunication between pick and pack teams.
  • Lack of structured onboarding and training follow-through.
  • Unresolved issues impacting flow, pick accuracy or pack quality.

Systems & Who You’ll Work With

  • Our internal WMS.
  • Admin, Stock Control and Shift Leadership.

What This Role Isn’t

This is a support, training and coaching role rather than a line management one:

  • No direct people management – performance issues are escalated to the Warehouse Outbound Operations Manager.
  • No final ownership of packing material replenishment or wave configuration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Retail experience.
  • Warehouse, fulfilment or e-commerce picking and packing experience preferred.
  • Experience training, coaching or onboarding colleagues.
  • A sharp eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality.
  • Confidence using a WMS, handheld scanners and everyday IT tools.
  • Clear, confident communication and the judgement to know when to escalate.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

  • You take pride in doing the job properly.
  • You enjoy helping people learn and seeing them improve.
  • You are equally comfortable coaching a new starter, fixing a scanner or briefing a shift leader.
  • You want to make the operation better, not just keep it running.

Shifts

5 days out of 7

  • Earlies: 6:00am – 2:00pm (finish early, the rest of the day is yours).
  • Lates: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (£1 per hour uplift for shifts finishing after 7pm).
  • Shift swaps and requests available – we know life happens.

What You Get

  •  £14.20 per hour.
  • 25% pick and pack bonus – paid monthly once you go permanent after 3 months.
  •  £100 attendance bonus every month.
  • Hot drinks provided on shift.
  •  Free parking on site.
  • Social events throughout the year.
  • Mintago retail discounts.

Why ZendGroup?

ZendGroup is growing fast, and the people on the floor are the reason we’re winning. You’ll be part of a team that ships for brands you recognise, in a business that’s going places. If you want to grow with us, the pathway is right there.

Career Path & Next Steps

Year 1 • Embed structured onboarding and training for all new pickers and packers. • Drive consistent picking and packing standards and improved order accuracy. • Become the trusted first point of contact on the Goods Out floor. Years 2-3 • Lead training and continuous improvement across Goods Out. • Take on wider shift and section responsibilities. • Develop the skills to step into team leadership. Next Step: Goods Out Team Leader Responsible for leading the picking and packing teams, shift performance, people management and outbound quality.
