Role: Machine Operator/FLT Driver
Location: Corby - NN17
Hours: Monday-Friday 7am – 4pm
Pay: £13.43 per hour increasing to £16.43 after training
Extrastaff Limited are delighted to be recruiting for a Machine Operator/FLT Driver for one of our clients based in Corby. This is a hands-on role involving the operation of manufacturing machinery, safe handling of materials using an FLT truck and ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved.
You will play a key role in maintaining efficient production operations while adhering to health and safety procedures. Working in a small team where every person matters.

Duties of a Machine Operator/FLT Driver:
- Operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently
- Set up machines and make basic adjustments as required
- Load, unload and transport materials using an FLT clamp-truck attachment
- Conduct routine machine checks and report faults or maintenance requirements
- Ensure products meet quality specifications
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
