Location: Rayleigh, SS6

Hours: Monday - Friday

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer to join one of our clients in Rayleigh.

This is a permanent, full-time position working for a specialist company delivering bespoke refrigeration and conditioning systems for high-end residential and commercial clients.

The successful candidate will be required to work both on-site and at client locations across the UK, with occasional overseas travel.

Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer Duties:

• Building and commissioning bespoke refrigeration systems for premium wine cellars and fridges
• Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Carrying out routine servicing and diagnostics
• Identifying and resolving system faults efficiently
• Ensuring all installations comply with current industry regulations and company quality standards
• Working from schematics and technical specifications
• Providing professional and courteous service when working at client sites
• Travelling to project sites across the UK and occasionally internationally
• Following all company health and safety procedures when working with refrigeration equipment and chemicals
• Other general Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer duties as required

Skills and Experience Required:

• Relevant Refrigeration / Air Conditioning qualifications, Level 2 and above preferred
• Previous experience in refrigeration installation and servicing
• F-Gas certification required
• Relevant HVAC/R qualifications
• Full valid driving licence required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• CSCS card preferred
• Experience working from schematics
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overseas work
• Construction experience preferred
