Location: Corby - NN17

Hours: Monday to Friday 11:30 – 20:00 working 1 in 4 Saturdays 10:30-18:00 with Monday off the following week

 Pay: £15.85 per hour (working a 40-hour week)

Extrastaff Limited are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join a distribution centre in Corby.  You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activity within an assigned operational area, ensuring that work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently while achieving agreed productivity, quality and service targets.  Supporting warehouse operatives, organising daily workload and monitoring performance throughout the shift, dealing with operational issues as they arise.

This is a temp to perm role after 12 weeks for suitable candidates.

Duties of a Warehouse Team Leader:

• Coordinate and prioritise daily warehouse activity
• Allocate work and resources to meet daily targets
• Monitor productivity, accuracy and service throughout the shift
• Lead, motivate and support warehouse operatives within the team
• Support stocktakes, cycle counts and investigation of stock discrepancies
• Ensure warehouse equipment is used safely
• Produce operational reports and updates when required
• Work closely with team leaders and departments to ensure good communication
