Moffett Driver

Role: Moffett Driver - or an experienced Class 2

Location: Crawley

Hours: 5AM to 5PM

Pay: £17.00 Per hour PAYE

An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced MOFFETT DRIVER to join our expanding client based in Crawley. This is a 12-week temp-to-perm position offering long-term job security, great working conditions, and a supportive environment.

However, if you do not have a Moffett License, the client is happy to accept experienced Class 2 drivers, and they will then provide on the job training for a Moffett License. 

You’ll work Monday to Friday, for a logistics and freight company who offers warehousing, pick-and-pack, distribution, and general cargo delivery. You will be operating a heavy goods vehicle equipped with a truck-mounted forklift, allowing you to independently load and unload goods at delivery and construction. Full assistance will be provided at every delivery point. 

This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys having a variety of work, enjoys being on the road and would like the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Duties and Requirements of the Moffett Driver:

• Transport, load and unload palletised cargo.
• Drive HGV Class 2 (or Class 1) vehicles safely across planned delivery routes
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
• Plan efficient routes and navigate effectively
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Good knowledge of London and West Sussex (advantageous)
• Hold valid Tacho, CPC, and Driving Licence cards at all times
