Role: Transport Team Manager

Location: Baginton

Hours: 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00

Shift: 4on 4off / Rotational (Days and Nights)

Pay:  £40,817.46 per annum or £19.50 p/h

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport Team Manager to join one of our longstanding clients in Baginton. This role could potentially go permanent for suitable candidates.

 Transport Team Manager Duties and Requirements:

• Fleet/HGV management on a wide range of vehicles
• Ensuring the operation is fully compliant with all legislative regulations including the operator licence, drivers’ hours, tachograph infringements and working time.
• Manage accident and incident reporting and investigation.
• Proven experience with multi-drop deliveries/planning.
• A strong people manager and communicator
• Significant experience in a managerial position within Transport or Logistics.
• A good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics.
• Investigating all vehicle accidents in line with procedure and policy.
• Knowledgeable and up to date on all Transport processes.
