An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join Production team in Bishop's Stortford. 

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, clients, suppliers and third parties, arranging collections, monitoring shipments and ensuring all relevant shipping and customs documentation is completed accurately.

Administrator Duties:

  • Produce all relevant labels and customs paperwork for shipments.
  • Arrange booking slots with consignees where required.
  • Identify and flag urgent and high-profile orders and requests.
  • Manage POD reports as required.
  • Update all shipments on MPDO with POD information.
  • Manage late and non-delivery issues.
  • Resolve queries when escalated and escalate queries when required.
  • Ensure all shipment work is charged correctly.
  • Ensure company processes and procedures are followed at all times.
  • Build and maintain strong client and internal relationships.
  • Communicate with suppliers and third parties by phone and email to arrange collections and monitor shipments from collection through to delivery.
  • Assist Delta Logistics when required.
  • Support the retail team and other departments with administrative tasks where necessary.
  • Assist with pricing orders and preparing quotations where required.

Administrator Requirements:

  • Understanding of customer service expectations.
  • Understanding of courier services and relevant software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients.
  • Ability to project manage and coordinate multiple requests.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Able to work on own initiative and demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Proven track record of delivering work to a high standard.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented approach to administration.
  • Experience within a logistics, shipping, warehouse or customer service environment would be advantageous.
