Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 16:00pm (1 hour lunch break paid)

Pay: £12.71 per hour

We are currently recruiting for reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join a long-established manufacturing business based in Crawley. This is a full-time, 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent long-term prospects for the right candidates.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive team where ongoing training and career progression are encouraged. The site is easily accessible by public transport, making it a great option for those travelling by bus.

Please note that this role involves regular heavy lifting, so candidates should be comfortable with manual handling duties.

Production Operative Duties:

• Assisting with the production and preparation of products
• Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
• Operating basic machinery and equipment following training
• Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
• Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
• Supporting the wider production team with general duties as required

What we're looking for:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual work
• Mechanically minded individuals are encouraged to apply
• Previous painting and decorating experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
