Role: Forklift Counterbalance / Yard Operative

Location: Rayleigh, Essex

Hours: 07:00 - 16:30, Monday - Friday

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Counterbalance / Yard Operative to join a busy but fun team in the Rayleigh, Essex area.

Forklift Counterbalance / Yard Operative Duties:

• Operate the Counterbalance forklift within the yard
• Assist with the scanning before using the forklift to move goods around
• Help load and unload using the forklift
• Fill out paperwork in a correct way
• Work in a fast paced but safe manner
• Help pack and sort customer orders
• An element of lifting can also be required

Requirements for a Forklift Counterbalance / Yard Operative:

• A valid Counterbalance FLT certificate (in-date and accredited)
• Minimum 6 months experienced as the role can be fast paced
• Flexibility to assist with general warehouse duties when required
• Hold a valid in date driving license
• A strong team player with a positive and ‘can-do’ attitude
