7.5 TONNE Driver

Role: 7.5 TONNE Driver 

Location: Dartford 

Hours: 6am to 5pm OR 10am to 9pm - Operating Monday to Saturday -  Average 4 shifts per week 

Pay: 6am to 6pm - £17.26 per hour 6pm to 10pm - £20.51 per hour 

An Excellent opportunity has arisen for a 7.5 TONNE Driver to join one of longstanding clients John Lewis based in the Dartford area.

• Overtime paid after 41 hours - between £25.89 to £30.76 per hour 
• Newly passed drivers accepted 

7.5 TONNE Driver Duties:

• Working as part of a two man crew carrying out home deliveries to include white goods and furniture 
• Completion of paperwork and/or use of scanning device 
• Manual handling included – you will be required to deliver to the customer’s room of choice
• Loading & unloading of vehicle
• Communicating directly with the customer regarding delivery times 
• Good customer service skills are essential  

Requirements for a 7.5 TONNE Driver:

• 7.5 TONNE licence (C1 Category) - Max 6 points on licence (cannot accept any DD, DR, or DG offences)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Good customer service & communication skills
• Reliability and flexibility regarding shifts times & days
• No criminal convictions - DBS certificate to obtained by company after passing induction
