Hours: Monday-Thursday 4.15pm to 02.30am

Pay: £14.00

Extrastaff have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Operative to join an ever-growing business in Corby.  This is a 12-week temp to perm role for suitable candidates; the ideal candidate MUST have experience in operating converting equipment in a manufacturing environment.

The machine operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining converting machinery to product hi-quality products according to specifications and the role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.

Machine Operative Duties:

• Operate converting machinery
• Set up and adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature and pressure
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery including cleaning and replacing parts
• Maintain production records and report and issues to the supervisor
• Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate production activities
• Maintain accurate production records including machine settings, downtime and output
