Role: HGV Class 2 Driver

Location: Lichfield, Staffordshire

Hours: Monday to Friday, 5am starts with occasional Saturday work

Pay: £13.50

Extrastaff Ltd are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Lichfield, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression with well know logistics company.

Duties as HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Carrying out deliveries (curtain-side, no handball required)
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured
• Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
• Assisting with loading and unloading when required
• Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers

Essential Skills:

• Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping skills
• Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations
