Role: HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver
Location: Basildon, CM11
Hours: 07:00am
Pay: £16.50 per hour
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join one of our longstanding clients in Basildon
Benefits as a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver:

- Monday-Friday. NO weekend work
HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver Duties:
- Drive and operate a refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently on assigned routes
- Collect household, commercial, or recycling waste in line with scheduled rounds
- Work closely with loaders/crew to ensure smooth and safe waste
- Operate lifting mechanisms for bins and containers (wheelie bins, skips, etc.)
- Ensure all waste is handled and transported in compliance with environmental and safety regulations
- Deliver collected waste to disposal or recycling facilities safely
Requirements as a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver:
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving license
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
