Canning Town £15.00 per hour Monday – Friday | Rotating shifts: 07:00–15:30 or 14:00–22:00

Extrastaff are currently recruiting for an experienced Folding Machine Operative to join a busy production site based in Canning Town.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience operating MBO folding machines or similar print finishing equipment, working within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating MBO folding machines to produce folded print materials to specification
• Setting up and adjusting machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished products meet required standards
• Monitoring machine performance and identifying any faults or issues
• Completing routine machine maintenance and cleaning
• Working closely with production teams to meet daily output targets
• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience operating folding machines within print or packaging production
• Knowledge of MBO folder machines is highly desirable
• Experience with die cutting or gluing machinery would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work within a fast-paced production environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
