Dagenham £35,000 per annum Monday – Friday | 07:00 – 17:00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy and well-established logistics operation based in Dagenham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and transport planning experience to play a key role in ensuring daily deliveries and collections run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and routing vehicles efficiently to meet delivery schedules
• Coordinating drivers and managing daily transport operations
• Monitoring routes and responding to any issues or delays in real time
• Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams and customers
• Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and company procedures
• Managing delivery paperwork and transport documentation
• Using transport management systems to track and optimise routes

Requirements

• Previous experience in transport planning or logistics coordination
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads
• Good communication skills when dealing with drivers and customers
• Knowledge of UK transport regulations is advantageous
