An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join a leading wholesale supplier within the food and hospitality sector.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building long-term client relationships, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional service within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.
You will manage and grow a portfolio of high-value hospitality clients, working closely with chefs, purchasing teams, and internal departments to ensure outstanding service and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing key accounts
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within your region
- Drive account growth through upselling, cross-selling, and product development
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
- Act as the primary point of contact for all account queries
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor market trends and pricing to provide commercial insight
- Accurately forecast sales and consistently meet or exceed targets
- Represent the business at industry events and client meetings
About You
- Proven experience in Sales Account Management ideally within hospitality, foodservice, fresh produce, or FMCG
- Strong understanding of the hospitality sector
- Commercially astute with a track record of hitting targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Passionate about food, quality, and delivering exceptional service
