Role: HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver

Location: Peterborough

Pay: £19.60

Start Time: 22:00-6:00

We are looking to recruit HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to work at one of our client within Peterborough area. This a temp to perm opportunity with great earning potential.

Duties of a HGV Driver Class 1 Shunter:

• Moving the trailers around the factory site.
• Complete vehicle checks and log any defects.
• Overview of the loading, ensuring security.
• Safe driving with consideration of other road users.
• The shunting involves opening and closing sheets.
• Winding of trailers legs.

What we’re looking for

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence (minimum 2 years experience)
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Max 6 points
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
