Class 2 Refuse Drivers

Extrastaff are recruiting experienced Class 2 Refuse Drivers for LOCAL AUTHORITY who are interested in driving refuse trucks to collect house hold waste.

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Start time: 04:30am

Rate: £ 15.00 - £ 18:00 per hour

About the role as a Class 2 Refuse Driver:

• Working within a 2/3 person crew
• Driving a HGV vehicle around residential streets collecting household waste
• Will be required to assist loaders as and when required
• Can be a manual physical role
• Driving HGV rear axle steering vehicles

Class 2 Refuse Driver Requirements:

• A valid HGV 2/CAT C driving licence, CPC and Digi Tacho
• Be a team player
• Compliant with driving hours, rules and regulations
• Previous experience as Dustcart or Class 2 Refuse Driver
