Hours: Monday-Thursday 13:30-22:00, Friday 13:30-20:30

Job type: Full time 

Pay: £12.21 p/h 

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Edenbridge, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience handling machinery who is looking to develop their skills further. Full training will be provided, making this role ideal for candidates who have some machine experience and want to progress within a stable and supportive environment.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. You will be working as part of a close-knit production team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Machine Operator duties and responsibilities: 

• Operating production and converting machinery safely and efficiently
• Setting up machines and adjusting settings as required
• Monitoring machine performance and carrying out quality checks
• Loading materials and removing finished products
• Identifying faults or issues and reporting them to supervisors
• Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of machinery
• Adhering to health & safety procedures at all times
• Completing production records and paperwork accurately

Requirements for a Machine Operator:

• Previous experience handling or operating machinery 
• Willingness to learn and be trained on specialist equipment
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
