Class 2 Driver

Role: Class 2 Driver 

Location: Dartford

Hours: 5am to 6am start (must be flexible) - Monday to Friday - 50 hours per week 

Pay: £17.21 per hour 

Extrastaff are currently recruiting a Class 2 Driver to work for our carpet manufacturer client based in Dartford.

• Ongoing for a minimum of 3 months - possibly longer 

Class 2 Driver Duties:

• Multi-drop carpet deliveries - 5 to 20 deliveries per day 
• Completion of delivery paperwork 
• Support the coupling and uncoupling of demountable boxes (training provided) 
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks 
• End-of-day debrief 
• Manual handling - this is a physically demanding role 

Requirements for Class 2 Driver:

• Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence 
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Reliability
