Role: HGV Driver Class 1
Location: Peterborough
Hours: Day shifts on Tramping available
Pay: £18.00 p/h- Monday - Friday. Weekends: £19 p/h. Also all drivers receive Tax free night out allowance.
Extrastaff are recruiting for multiple HGV Drivers with Class 1 licence to work with one of our long standing clients based in Peterborough. We can offer full time work on an ongoing contract either on shift pattern or ad hoc work to suit your schedule. My client can offer long term work through agency or move onto contract.

Duties of a HGV Driver Class 1
- Collecting empty trailers, being loaded and dropped full at sites across the UK
- Complete vehicle checks and log any defects
- Communicate with transport on ETA and traffic
- Overview of the loading, ensuring security
- Safe driving with consideration of other road users
