Job Role: QHSE/BRC Administrator

Location: Corby

Pay Rate: £14ph (£18,200PA) Hours: 25hrs per week (Monday to Friday), Flexible hours (AM or PM) Duration: 12 Months – Ongoing

Extrastaff are looking for a H&S/BRC administrator to join their client in Corby on a part-time basis for at least 12 months.

Main Duties as a QHSE Admin:

  • Responsible for maintaining and promoting the highest standards of health & safety, ensuring compliance with BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards.
  • You will be the go-to person for all things H&S and BRC, ensuring our working environment remains safe, compliant, and audit-ready at all times.
  • Oversee and maintain the company’s health & safety policies and practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections.
  • Manage accident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.
  • Lead on BRC compliance activities, including documentation, internal audits, and support during external audits.
  • Food safety standards upheld. HACCP knowledge.
  • Deliver site inductions.
  • Work closely with site management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Requirements for a QSHE Admin:

  • Strong understanding of BRC Global Standards.
  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety and/or BRC-related role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar regulated environment.
  • A H&S qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
