HGV Class 1 Driver

Role: HGV Class 1 Driver 

Location: Leicestershire (Coalville, Leicester and Hinckley area)

Hours: Monday to Friday (Days or Nights)

Pay: £16.50p/h Upwards depending on client. 

Extrastaff have a number of opportunities for HGV Class 1 Driver for ongoing work Monday to Friday or 5 on 2 off as well as weekends at their clients based in and around Leicester.

• Ongoing work
• Client can offer 5 days a week
• Flexible shift patterns
• 10-12 hours per shift
• No Handballing on Class 1 work. 

Duties & skills required as a HGV Class 1 Driver:

• Collections and Deliveries
• Curtain Side
• Pallet work
• Must complete a WTD and compliance test prior to starting
• Must have good communication skills
• At least 1 year experience as a HGV Class 1 Driver and over 25
• Must have an up to date CPC and Tacho
• Ideally you will be happy to Driver, Class 2 and Vans if required and Do Multi Drop every now and again.
