HGV Class 2 Drivers

Role: HGV Class 2 Driver    

Location: Erith

Hours: Operating Monday to Saturday – 10 hours per shift - 4 shifts per week – start time between 5am to 11am OR 11am to 3pm 

Pay: £18.12 per hour - overtime paid after 48 hours at £23.56 per hour 

Extrastaff are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Drivers working for a market leading wholesale provider in the UK.

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:

• Caged deliveries - roll on and off of vehicle 
• Multi-drop deliveries - 6 to 10 drops per day, 1 to 2 runs 
• Deliveries in Southeast England - no Central London 
• Completion of paperwork 
• Driving refrigerated vehicles 

Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver:

• HGV Class 2 licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept any CU, MS, MW, PC, TS, DD, DR, or DG offences)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• Good customer service & communication skills
• Reliability
• Flexibility - must be available to work any 4 days out of 6 days per week, between Monday and Saturday 
• Minimum 6 months experience
