Van Drivers

Van Drivers needed for companies based in Dartford & the surrounding areas 

£12 to £13 per hour - minimum 8 hours pay - overtime paid at time + 1/2 

6am to 8am start - average 8 to 10 hour shift 

Companies operating in a wide range of sectors - flooring, general haulage, paper and packaging supplies, food products, metal, timber, building materials, tyres, medical supplies, etc. 

Duties for Van Drivers can include: 

• Multi-drop & long distance deliveries 
• Loading and/or unloading of vehicle 
• Use of pump truck - electric or manual 
• Completion of paperwork & use of PDA/scanning device 
• Securing load - use of ratchet straps 
• Use of curtain side or tail lift vehicles 

Requirements for Van Drivers: 

• UK driving licence (B category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept DR, DG, DD, or TT offences) 
• Excellent customer service skills 
• Flexibility - regarding working hours and type of deliveries 
• Relevant experience essential
