HGV Class 2 Drivers

HGV Class 2 Drivers needed for companies based in Dartford & the surrounding areas 

£15 to £16.50 per hour - minimum 8 hours pay - overtime paid at time + 1/2 

6am to 8am start - operating Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS      

Newly passed/qualified drivers accepted 

Companies operating in a wide range of sectors - flooring, general haulage, paper and packaging supplies, food products, metal, timber, building materials, tyres, medical supplies, etc. 

Duties for HGV Class 2 Driver can include: 

• Multi-drop palletised deliveries 
• Loading and/or unloading of vehicle 
• Use of pump truck - electric or manual 
• Completion of paperwork & use of PDA/scanning device 
• Securing load 
• Use of curtain side or tail lift vehicles 

Requirements for HGV Class 2 Driver: 

• UK HGV Class 2 driving licence (C category) - max 6 points on licence (cannot accept DR, DG, DD, or TT offences) 
• Digital tachograph card 
• CPC card (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
